Steve . Amy . Sawyer. Friday, June 5, 2015. Months beforehand, we started to save the $15,000 that it would take for our IVF procedure. I started a small business of making clothes for babies and kids and diligently saved every dime for our medical bills that I knew would be coming our way, as our insurance doesn't cover anything to do with infertility. We finally had enough saved through lots of support of friends, family and strangers. March 18: It was finally my egg retrieval day! I was so ecstatic!

Steve . Amy . Sawyer. Thursday, July 25, 2013. Just a few things. Sawyer is 11 weeks old today. He rolled over a few times when he was about 6 weeks old, but hasn't done it since. He now sleeps soundlessly from 10pm till about 4:30am, and then (usually) just needs cuddles and a binky to put him back to sleep till breakfast at 7:00am. (Thank you Baby Wise). He has the most adorable cry face. Sometimes I just have to let him cry for a sec so I can soak it in. During the day, he is eating 5 oz every 4 hours.

Sawyer wasn't too impressed by racing down the hill, but he wasn't upset about it either. This was our first Christmas with the 3 of us, and it was awesome. We decided to have our family's Christmas on Christmas Eve since we'd be with the Shumways on the 25th. I woke up to get Sawyer and to my surprise, Santa had come in the night!

Monday, October 22, 2012. We took a family trip up the canyon a couple of weekends ago, it was so much fun! We enjoyed the beautiful fall colors, roasting hot dogs, making s'mores, and singing songs around the campfire. This is something we are going to start doing a lot more often. Next time we do this we are going to try camping all night. We brought everything up to camp, but I ended up feeling pretty sick so we decided to pack up and go home. Hopefully we can try again before it gets too cold!
