Steve and Brit's Blog. Butternut squash, sweet potato, and apple soup →. October 14, 2014 · 2:15 pm. Roasted Butternut Squash and Caramelized Onion (Noodle-less) Lasagna. So… Anne Burrell. LOVE this recipe. But my word. It was time consuming. You know when you start a recipe and you need to finish it… (kinda like a movie that you start watching and you don’t really love, but you feel like you need to finish to see how it ends? This photo does NOT do the dish justice. I added a layer of caramelized onions.

Steve and Brit's Blog. Newer posts →. August 16, 2014 · 2:03 am. What we ate this week. I cooked A LOT this past week and we loved it all. I figured I better document for weeks when I have far less inspiration. Friday: Cod and Veggies in Foil. Saturday: Greek Cucumber Salad. Sunday: brought apple crisp to a friend’s house for dinner. Monday: Meatloaf a la Pioneer Woman. Delish (make sure to bake on a broiler pan to keep the bacon from getting soggy). I made some edits to this dish… see below. Filed under...

Steve and Brit's Blog. Roasted Butternut Squash and Caramelized Onion (Noodle-less) Lasagna →. August 20, 2014 · 1:28 am. Growing up, we didn’t eat “diverse” foods. In fact, we ate pretty much the same 15 or so meals every week. I think that a lot of families are like that. Work and activities get in the way of creative cooking. When people don’t “LOVE” to cook, then the familiar staples are easiest to prepare. 1-15 c. roasted chicken, rough chopped. 1 large yellow onion, sliced. 1 Serrano pepper, sliced.

Mullins Family: Here's what's going on..
http://themullins-family.blogspot.com/2010/11/heres-whats-going-on.html
Tuesday, November 16, 2010. Here's what's going on. Kids are doing great! They had a court date last Friday (that we don't have to attend since they're so little), and all I can really say is that it'll be 4 months before the next one. Not sure of any outcomes as far as what 4 months from now will be like, but we just live each day as a normal day as a normal family. Christmas will be spent here with both sides of our family. That's right! Kind of :) Aaron's roommate from college is getting married, and ...

Wednesday, September 8, 2010. Living like a movie star. Or something like that. I told Aaron the other day that I felt like I was living in the movie "50 First Dates". Have you seen it? It is a cute one. definitely a chick flick even with Adam Sandler in it. It's the one where Adam Sandler falls in love with Drew Barrymore only to find out that she had been in a car accident that causes her to wake up each morning thinking it's the morning of the accident. Mullins Family: March 2010
http://themullins-family.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 25, 2010. Big news in the Mullins home:. In June, we're opening up our home for foster care! It's easiest to start there, and then go onto explain how we got to this point. Let me start by saying, we. Here are some FAQs about this new stage of our life:. The big one. What made you guys decide to do this? Sit back because it's a long answer. It all started when a more than devastating earthquake hit Haiti. Our hearts were broken. And back to my point :). We don't even have kids! These peop...

Tuesday, May 21, 2013. Time goes so much faster on the second baby. Sweet Abby is 2 months old.and I feel like we were in the hospital yesterday giving birth to her. She is such a precious joy to us! Weight: 11lb 4oz (60th Percentile). Height: 22 3/4" (64th Percentile). I just have to note that Noah was 14 lb 12 oz and 24 3/4" long - sweet Abby is such a petite little thing compared to him}. Here's where we are:. She coos and jabbers. It's adorable! I think she's really going to be a little blue eyed baby.

Saturday, June 15, 2013. She's three months old. I feel like last night I went in to be admitted. Wonder if that will ever change? Time could just slow down.that would just be fabulous. But she's three months.and she is so stinking amazing. I feel like we really hit our stride this month. She is such a happy little baby. Don't get me wrong.she's got some opinions.but in general this little thing is SO happy. Tracks us wherever we are. Art by her brother). Does not dig tummy time. Girlfriend LOVES to ...
We're the Allison's: Confessions
http://bradandrach.blogspot.com/2014/01/confessions.html
Wednesday, January 22, 2014. Inspired by a blog post my friend Ellen shared today on the FB.here is a list of confessions. Sometimes being a mama is hard. But man do I love it. Here's our list:. Noah peed on our couch today. And the pillows. And on me. I just started two sentences with and. I know that's not really correct. I'm going to do it anyways. And I'll like it. BOOM. I truly dislike potty training. He cries when he poops. So he refuses to do so on the potty. I get SO frustrated with this. Today I...

Monday, March 25, 2013. Our sweet Abigail arrived on March 15, 2013 at 12:51pm. She weighed in at 8lb 2oz and 21" long. I am currently typing this with her laying on my chest because girl LOVES to be held. (Can't even lie.Mama loves it. Although I might be creating a monster.). I'm going to write out her birth story here- I'll try not to be too detailed.but this is good for me when I finally get to baby books. :). But then the action really started. I started feeling like my water had broken, and lik...

Tuesday, April 30, 2013. Abbs has had quite the social schedule in her short little life! She's already met two of her besties. (Yep I used it). ANDwe all had baby girls! Tuesday, February 26, 2013. Worked my last 12 hour shift today. AMEN. That's it. One more 4 hour shift on Tuesday. I'm done. I have contractions the whole shift when I work a 12, and it's physically exhausting. So one more 4 hour shift and then 6-8 weeks of BABY TIME. I sometimes can't imagine going back after Duey comes. But I know it's just because I'm so tired. I mean for real I'm getting crazy. Plus I was floated part of my shift today. Crazy. Noah now asks "What this? He now actually will kiss.a...
We're the Allison's: December 2014
http://bradandrach.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 10, 2014. Yep Two in a week. Insomnia has set in. Actually, sleeping has not been too much of a problem this time, just more getting to sleep. I would blame that on the daily naps though.oops! The week has improved significantly as it has gone on. I'm so thankful for that. Our projects for the week have gone better, and Noah is so excited every day to open the envelope and see what he gets to do. NoteI left my phone at home for this adventure*. Rachael seriously.she could kill you.
