Thursday, September 13, 2012. This month was a doozy. After the horrible stomach bug that went through all of us, we had another week of sickness. I got a clogged milk duct that almost turned into mastitis, which may or may not have contributed to your nursing strike, which made us go to the pediatrician and found out that you have acid reflux! It was another long week for you and I to say the least. The best thing about you is your smile. You are such a smiley baby when you are not hungry or tired!

The Story of Two Nomads. Friday, May 24, 2013. We have been loving getting outside lately since it's been so nice and Avery is enjoying it too! She's been happiest outside on the deck looking at the leaves or in the front yard on a blanket in the shade. She's really starting to grasp for things and to get very curious about everything so it's been fun. We are enjoying her so much! After her bath in her little Pooh robe. On her 3 month birthday! Thursday, September 25, 2014. As I type this it's raining out and somewhere around 65 degrees. Lame. Fall is here and, as much as I love it, I'm sad to put away summer clothes. The Story of Two Nomads. Friday, June 14, 2013. I wanted to title this post "The Tail. Of Avery and Reese" but I just couldn't bring myself to be that cheesy! Except for the fact that clearly I posted my cringe-worthy title here anyway. Oops. A lot of people have asked me how Reese is doing with Avery. The short answer is he's doing great! So overall, we've been very pleased with his adjustment, especially since he's only 1 and a very high energy dog at times. Reese falling in love? This feels funny, Mom!

The Story of Two Nomads. Friday, August 31, 2012. Pregnancy Snack: Fruit Bruschetta! Until about 12 weeks, I was majorly having trouble eating enough fruits and veggies. That drove me to get creative to make it appealing! This is something I've made a couple of times in the past and it is delicious, during pregnancy or not! It is completely customizable depending on the bread, fruit, and even cheese you want to use. I used cherries and peaches here, with mascarpone cheese, and a baguette. This is so good!
