After finishing my master's degree, I worked at Skidmore, Owings and Merrill in Chicago as a structural engineer on tall buildings (2001-2004). Most significantly, I was on the team designing Burj Khalifa. My experience at SOM was rigorous and I gained comprehensive knowledge of steel and concrete building design. While at SOM I obtained my professional engineering license and I was the structural representative on their LEED working group. Stanford University, current PhD Student, Structural Engineering.
