Front-end Developer and Designer. World of Warcraft: Legion Website. I'm proud to say that I was given the opportunity to work on the announcement site for World of Warcraft: Legion, an expansion for one of the most successful games of all time. This was a very challenging and fulfilling project, with lush visuals and lots of video. Visit the live site. The most common complaint about the previous design was that it took too many steps to move around the app, so with this design the sections can be expan...

A game about climbing mountains, parenting, and hams. This is still a work in progress but I blog. About its development (among other things) and there is some music. My second entry for the Ludum Dare. 48-hour game jam, made in August 2013. A frantic match-three puzzle game that explains what instigated the alien invasion in Space Invaders. It ranked in the top 10% of 1,400 entries in the Fun category and very nearly so in Audio and Overall (top 11%). My first entry for the Ludum Dare.

A wide, serifed, tiny (7px tall) pixel font, made for retro-styled videogames and inspired by western and Clarendon typefaces. Intended for font sizes divisible by 8. Some manual kerning with awkward letter pairs like WA and AV might be necessary as kerning tables weren't implemented. Marietta Seven is public domain so do with it what you want! This was made with the amazing FontStruct. Download Marietta Seven (TrueType font, 4KB ZIP). Download Marietta Five (TrueType font, 4KB ZIP).

I occasionally make electronic music for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Here's a sample of the music for my work-in-progress videogame The Mountaineers:. Here's something I made with the amazing Bebot for iOS. And here's my first song, from 2008. The MML code used to generate this is available on GitHub.

Layout Grid Bookmarklet

July 23, 2006. Inspired by Khoi Vinh’s post about using a background image of a grid. For layout, and a subsequent post over at Smiley Cat about the same thing. I decided to knock up a quick Photoshop style Layout Grid Bookmarklet. The above bookmarklet simply applies a layout grid image to the body of the page. I have also created a Layout Grid Overlay Bookmarklet. Which may be useful on occasion. UPDATE:] Marcus Breese just emailed me a show/hide layout grid. Posted at July 23, 2006 2:26 PM. A built-in...
