Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. Monthly Archives: March 2011. Four Kings or the Ring of fire. March 15, 2011. Recently, I’ve been introduced to the most brutal, awesome, hideous drinking game know to man or beast. Its called Four Kings or Ring of Fire. The concept involves laying out a deck of cards in a joined fan around a drinking vessel (small or large depending on ferocity, change to suit). Each card has a rule attached to it, and these are as follows:. 7 – Vomit. This i...9 ̵...

Resistors | TG's Electronic exploration

TG's Electronic exploration. An adventure into the world of the electron. LED Torch (flashlight) Conversion. Resistors are pretty straight forward. They convert electrical energy to heat by resisting the flow of electrical current (kind of like friction resisting movement). Their resistance is measured in ohms, abbreviated to Ω. For a nice little app to read resistor codes look here. I encourage all people starting out to simply buy a big multipack of resistors such as this one. P = (V * V) / R. New stuf...

TG's Electronic exploration. An adventure into the world of the electron. LED Torch (flashlight) Conversion. Capacitors store energy, their ability to store energy is called capacitance and is measured in farads which is abbreviated to F (although 1 farad is a huge amount of energy). I recommend that anyone starting out with hobby electronics buys a multi-pack of polarised capacitors such as this one. Rapid online, uk). For much more information than you will ever need, see the wikipedia page. You are co...

TG's Electronic exploration. An adventure into the world of the electron. LED Torch (flashlight) Conversion. LED Torch (flashlight) Conversion. I bought a cheap aluminium LED torch a few years ago. The build quality is great but it lacks power, having only 3 white LEDs in it. I’ve been wanting to supercharge it so i got some 3w star LEDs from ebay and took it apart. This is a log of my experiences. Possibly switch the m16 washer for a m18 one. December 17, 2010 at 1:25 pm. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Poetic Truth, Reality and Life for those who desire to DO SOMETHING! Tuesday, March 1, 2011. Woke up, mixed up, what’s that sound. Feet to the floor and I’m morning bound. Restless and hungry for this day to end. So I can wake up, be mixed up and try again. Left hand or right hand I’m so confused. Which way to turn so I can dodge the blues. Good Lord have mercy on this troubled man. So I can wake up, be mixed up and try again. Promises, promises I try to make. Can’t keep the promises I give away. To hide...
