Is building an elementary school. This is the first promotional video I shot for the project. On my trip to Malawi in June, I spent an afternoon with Henry, one of the students in the Equitas. Secondary education program. Henry did very well on his secondary school entrance exams, so he qualified for boarding school. He is very driven, and is focused on becoming an electrical engineer. Hey, I’m Steve – thanks for stopping by. I’m a Ruby, Python, Java, C#, PHP, WordPress, and Apex coder; editorial photographer; writer. I’m currently redeveloping this site using Rails. In 2007, my wife and I founded a non-profit called Equitas. That does work in Africa. We are building an elementary school in rural Malawi – check out the project here. En route to Charlottetown on Prince Edward Island, Canada, Rachael and I stopped for lunch at Beachcombers on the Wharf. In Victoria.
