Dennis Daly was born in Salem Massachusetts. He graduated from Boston College with a B.S. degree and earned a Master of Arts degree in English Literature at Northeastern University. A fourth book titled The Sentinel was published by Red Dashboard Publishing in September of 2016. Daly's fifth book, a translation, titled 21 Ghazals by Alisher Navoiy, was published in December 2016 by Cervena Barva Press.
