Europe In Our Motorhome. Tuesday, 5 July 2011. Day 141 Wednesday 29.06.2011. Fort Mahon Plage Aire, Northern France. N 50º20.332’ E 001º33.333’. We have stayed on the Fort Mahon Plage Aire a couple of times before but only when it was raining, we have always referred to it as the rainy aire. Today the sun is shining and there’s not a cloud in the sky. The aire is behind the car park in front of the sand dunes, very pleasant and a real sun trap but when it rains the parking area does get a bit muddy.
