http://sweetwaterdesign.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 30, 2011. This bunkie was designed with a 2nd-storey loft for extra sleeping space. The use of Manitoulin cedar, along with refurbished doors and windows, gives the building a warm, unique character as though it's already experienced an interesting history. Sweetwater Carpentry: Backyard makeover
http://sweetwaterdesign.blogspot.com/2013/09/backyard-makeover.html
Saturday, September 21, 2013. Summer was as it should be: busy and beautiful, with no time for messing on the computer! One of the projects we worked on was helping this Hamilton resident to revamp his backyard. He was looking to create a shady area for relaxing beside his beloved vegetable garden. This pergola does the trick while adding some visual interest to the backyard's design. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Steve Maxwell•Canada's Handiest. Watermark template. Powered by Blogger.
Sweetwater Carpentry: Shady bench
http://sweetwaterdesign.blogspot.com/2012/07/shady-bench_23.html
Monday, July 23, 2012. Here's a sweet option for creating a private little nook. We designed and built this small pergola bench out of cedar for a Burlington backyard. The addition of a few throw cushions turned it into the perfect spot to cozy up with a book and a cool drink on a hot summer's day. Accent lighting makes it glow at night. Some beefy planters to flank the sides would be a nice finishing touch. November 12, 2012 at 5:38 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
Sweetwater Carpentry: Finishing touches on the deck
http://sweetwaterdesign.blogspot.com/2013/04/finishing-touches-on-deck.html
Thursday, April 25, 2013. Finishing touches on the deck. The custom-cut lumber we're using on this deck job is simply stunning. Everyone keeps thinking it must be Western Red Cedar, but nope, it's Eastern White Cedar from our partner mill on Manitoulin Island. Just doing the final bits now. Staining the walls, finishing the benches, the pergolas, gates. Almost ready for the big reveal. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Steve Maxwell•Canada's Handiest. Finishing touches on the deck.
