Helping you connect with the world. Your book in Print. Steve May’s blog. Every writer needs a way of communicating with the world. You can use facebook and twitter to some extent, but your main attraction needs to be your website and blog. The good news is that you can get started for next to nothing. Neither do I like to think about what I used to pay for a year of hosting. I’ll just say that my provider saw me coming. Helping you connect with the world. Your book in Print. Steve May’s blog. Get your ebook ready. If you own a kindle then you already know how frustrating it is to buy a poorly formatted ebook:. No working table of contents, no proper page breaks, sloppy layout — it’s like they just threw 50,000 words onto the screen without any thought or any effort to provide a pleasant reader experience. Can get away with it. Self-published authors can’t. It doesn’t make sense. You deserve better, and so do your readers.

A blog by Dot Hatfield. RIP Emma Lou Briggs. To Find a Home. The Last To Know. Every Day a New Day. January 25, 1928 began like any ordinary day in an ordinary small Oklahoma town. The aroma of bacon and biscuits filled the air in country kitchens as homemakers prepared breakfast for their families. The milkman made his early morning rounds. Children dressed in winter clothes walked to school. No one had the slightest hint that before sunset, someone they knew would die. Too General to Define.
