Initially studied at Dyfed College of Art, then gained a BA (Hons) degree from Newport School of Art, followed by an MA from The University of Reading and a PGCE from The University of Wales. The meticulous approach to my work is not mere representation, but a process of drawing potent information from the objects depicted through a sensitive and atmospheric use of the medium. There is, however, no intended symbolism in the paintings, any possible meanings are entirely open to individual interpretation.

Steve Nall: Original paintings
Here is a selection of the latest works completed over the last couple of years. The total collection is now over 400 original pieces. I usually paint over my own photographs until there is almost no original image left visible - you can tell it's something, but the closer you look the less familiar it becomes. It's probably upside down as well. The natural environment has always inspired me. Please contact me for a private viewing of the paintings using the form above.
