Wednesday, July 24, 2013. Is there anything more American? This year, we celebrated Independence Day in Madison, Florida with Steven's MawMaw Sidney. We spent the evening eating BBQ and watching the fireworks, which were really great, especially for such a small community. It was so fun to watch the fireworks through Sawyer's eyes. Every time one would go off, he would shout "Whoa! And tell everyone the color of the firework. It was so cute! We had such a great time celebrating America! Links to this post.

Friday, May 24, 2013. My Little Brother Graduated from College.Say What! Last Friday, Taylor graduated from college! He is now an official Physical Therapy Assistant. Wednesday, January 23, 2013. Since today is the eve of the four-year anniversary of our engagement, I decided to get the whole story down on paper (uhh.cyber paper, I guess). If your interested, take a look! I answered, "It's pretty cold outside, but okay.". While we were all sitting around eating, I noticed that Steven barely touched his food. He said that he was still full from lunch, so I didn't think anything about it. As soon as I took my last bite, he said, "You ready? Right after he asked me!

Monday, April 29, 2013. Sawyer LOVES the sandbox at school, so we decided it was time he had one to play in at home. I thought it would be a lot easier to go to Walmart and pick up a generic little sandbox, but Steven saw an opportunity to use his woodworking skills. He put down a cover to keep weeds from growing through the sand. Everything is there but the sand! Although you can't tell by this picture (for some reason he looks terrified), Sawyer loves it! Sawyer sure does LOVE having such a handy Daddy!

Occasionally, I have to visit units on campus to provide assistance during speaking engagements for a a new project I am managing at work. Our presentation went ok. I usually do very little speaking, just provide the head nodding. I noticed someone (trying to protect the innocent). I proceeded to be verbally attacked. Think angry chihuahua, only the dog probably had its rabies shot.
