News from the Pulpit: Homosexual High
http://pulpitnews.blogspot.com/2008/10/homosexual-high.html
News from the Pulpit. Interesting articles from a preachers perspective. Thursday, October 9, 2008. Are you ready for your teenage kids to have the choice to choose to go to a Homosexual High School. A place that is designed around the idea that people are made to be Gay, Lesbian, and Trans gender? I certainly am not. The worst thing is that is appears to be a publicly funded school in Chicago. Fox News has more details. Now, in case this isn't bad enough, Gloucester is now handing out contraceptives.

News from the Pulpit: The price of security
http://pulpitnews.blogspot.com/2008/10/price-of-security.html
News from the Pulpit. Interesting articles from a preachers perspective. Thursday, October 9, 2008. The price of security. How much is too much to pay for security? We could live in a much more secure nation, but that would require much less freedom. For example there are x-ray machines. That adds some humor to the wiretapping situation. But the question is still, how much is too much? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Thoughts From The Preacher. What is your faith in? Ketchup...

http://pulpitnews.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
News from the Pulpit. Interesting articles from a preachers perspective. Tuesday, September 30, 2008. Man (slurring his words a bit): "Uh . no officer, I didn't realize how fast I was going.". Officer (shakes his head in disbelief): "I'm gonna have to ask you to step out of the car.". Man: "Uh . first would you mind pulling my finger? Officer (a little woozy from the smell): "That's it! You're going to jail! Now, why do I bring this up? The depravity of man (er, woman). At times I hear people talk about ...

News from the Pulpit: Same-sex marriage
http://pulpitnews.blogspot.com/2008/10/same-sex-marriage.html
News from the Pulpit. Interesting articles from a preachers perspective. Friday, October 10, 2008. Now, I am certain that marriage was originally intended to be between one man and one woman. That being the case, why is it wrong for marriage to be limited to one man and one woman? I don't see how it is discriminatory for marriage to remain as it was intended. Apparently the Conn. Court disagrees with me. They say ( as recorded by MSNBC). One Man and One Woman, Marriage One way! View my complete profile.

News from the Pulpit: Praying to Potatoes
http://pulpitnews.blogspot.com/2008/10/praying-to-potatos.html
News from the Pulpit. Interesting articles from a preachers perspective. Thursday, October 2, 2008. I've got an idea. Let's all get together and worship a potato chip that looks like a saint. Not really, that would be silly . But, if there were a window somewhere with an image on it - that would be really cool. I think we found a winner! Also, the Bible teaches us not to make any graven images to worship. Speaking of Potatoes, here is a link to a potato chip museum! October 3, 2008 at 2:51 PM. I am marri...

I don't know about you, but I am going to the store tonight, gonna get some chopsticks! Like a city whose walls are broken down is a man who lacks self-control" (Proverbs 25:28).

http://pulpitnews.blogspot.com/2008/10/ketchup-and-proposition-8.html
News from the Pulpit. Interesting articles from a preachers perspective. Wednesday, October 1, 2008. Ketchup and Proposition 8. Only in California would one man get accused of stealing ketchup ( article). While another is getting married to his groom. And so it begins, the battle. For Proposition 8. If this isn't a sign of the times I don't know what is. The Bible is clear: "Do not be deceived: no sexually immoral people, idolaters, adulterers, male prostitutes, homosexuals, 10. I think that if half the ...

News from the Pulpit: October 2008
http://pulpitnews.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
News from the Pulpit. Interesting articles from a preachers perspective. Thursday, October 23, 2008. This is pretty funny. A politician didn't file taxes for five years - five years - and now his lawyers claim it is because he has "non-filer syndrome.". Now, if he was a little late I could see an argument that he was absent minded. But for a politician to forget to pay his taxes for five years is just absurd. It is also interesting that he was not caught for five years. See the whole story here. Apparent...
