WilliamL: Anti-Revisionist

Tuesday, October 4, 2011. October 4, 2011 at 8:36 AM. But what about other countries that also failed to prevent war? Do you think Russia had a big role too because of the fact that they made Austria-Hungary believe they would intervene? Without Russia maybe it could have been a localized conflict, because Russia wouldnt have to pull in France and Britain wouldnt be involved either. October 4, 2011 at 5:09 PM. WilliamL: Intentions vs. Results
http://williamlane123.blogspot.com/2011/12/intentions-vs-results.html
Wednesday, December 14, 2011. Intentions vs. Results. By acting against the uncontrolled aggression of the Nazis in Germany, the world basically showed that they were ignoring the atrocities that were occurring in both Europe and China. Though in retrospect this may look like a thoughtless move, at the time it must have appeared that the angry military force of Hitler's Nazis was a bit more threatening to the rest of the world, where the atrocities were largely contained in their respective areas.

I agree that todays college grads are more demanding of higher paying jobs. This has good reason though, with college becoming increasingly more expensive, student loans can pile up easily. What students major in could also be a problem; will they realistically be able to find a career in their major? November 30, 2011 at 6:42 AM. Cold War- Take Two.

Wednesday, February 8, 2012. Origins of the Cold War. February 8, 2012 at 6:36 AM. I agree with this, I think that economics were an extremely important part of the origins of the Cold War. You can trace the economic tensions all the way back to the Russian Revolution. February 8, 2012 at 6:53 AM. I agree I think these factors raised tensions in the world, in turn causing the Cold War. WilliamL: Forces Driving Imperialism
http://williamlane123.blogspot.com/2011/09/forces-driving-imperialism.html
Wednesday, September 21, 2011. September 21, 2011 at 6:48 AM. I agree with Billy, I think that many countries were trying to gain military bases around the world in case war did break out. However, by wanting these military footholds, powerful countries, such as the U.S. had to take over smaller countries, such as the Phillipines. Many imperialist acts, such as this, led to problems between countries which was a contributing factor to WWI. September 21, 2011 at 7:52 AM. September 22, 2011 at 3:44 PM.
