Wednesday, 24 February 2010. A change in the workflow. Sunday, 21 February 2010. Time to loose some poly's. After experimenting with Z-Brush and XNormal. I decided to look at my model again and see if i could lower my poly count down to my original budget that i had decided upon at the beginning of the year with Stas. And Dean. My budget for the character model was 10,000 polys. Or 20,000 tris. So i looked long and hard at my model and started chipping into it using target weld and deleting any polys.

Tuesday, 7 September 2010. At this stage i was still trying to work out how i should reduce my tri count and i refined the model like the pictures below show. However if we look at the base of the cone i had not took into consideration that i would have to model the underneath of the cone as this asset would more than likely be interactive in a game such as Motorstorm.
