Friday, December 16, 2011. There are weeks like this in life (& leadership). Clean up the pjs and room, settle our boy back down and then up again ay 6:30 am for another round. I took a tylenol and a gravol before going to bed to help relieve the pain and make sure I slept well. The purpose of sharing these "such is life" details on my blog is not sympathy (or to bore you with details). I think there's some leadership lessons I need to learn from this situation:. Thursday, May 31, 2012. Yelling at the referee. I can't believe I'm writing this but, "Remember the good old days? This weekend, my mind was brought back to the phrase when starting the sentence, Remember the good old days when you could yell at a referee (or baseball umpire) and share what you thought - "thought" being defined loosely - and they had to "take it"? Or two hours later walk out with their friends blaming the referee for the team's loss? I agree that 95-99% of the time the fans are wrong!

Baby be Blessed {behind the seams}: December 2010
http://baby-be-blessed.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 22, 2010. Santa Claus at our House? As a child I wasn't taught to believe in Santa Claus. To me he was just an overweight guy dressed up in a red suit that came to Grandmas' house on Christmas Eve to hand out a bag of candy. There was no stockings or letters addressed to the North Pole. I'm pretty sure it was a deliberate decision on my parents' part to make sure Santa wasn't really a part of our Christmas celebration. I recently read this article. By suggestion from my friend Steve.
