Ruby on Rails Project Night May 7th (Star Trek May 8th). Where the cool nerds go. Hello and welcome Ruby/Rails aficionados! This Thursday May 7th marks the Spring version of the Toronto Ruby on Rails Project Night. I’ve almost lost count, but I’ve been running these events for just over a year and a half, and there’s been no shortage of interest or involvement! I’m very happy to say that Robert Nishimura has again stepped up to provide drinks for us this Thursday, in support of Clearfit.com. Taking a cru...

Social Media IS the Banana! Here, have the banana! In reference to any social media tool, trick, widget, app, etc…. 8230; if your business is social media [it] sure would be a good tool. All business is social media. 8230;correction, all business involves media. Traditional media is slow, expensive, and doesn’t scale. Social media is the opposite. The dev team of one: accountability
http://latentflip.com/dev-team-one-accountability
The dev team of one: accountability. Being in a technical team of one can really suck sometimes. One of the problems I have is accountability. I am not directly accountable, nor working with, anyone in particular. The only people I am really dealing with on a technical difficulty are. The trouble is, I am not very nice to. Bundler: Oh the fail I know. | Marked As Pertinent
https://markedaspertinent.wordpress.com/2010/03/08/bundler-oh-the-fail-i-know
Rails, design, art, business by BJ Clark. Bundler: Oh the fail I know. First, a disclaimer: I don’t want to be negative. I am only writing this because I feel it deserves attention by the community and because I love Rails so much that the fact that something is making me lose faith in it truly makes me a little sad.
