Sunday, June 16, 2013. Both suns were setting at the same time! Well, technically, it was the sun and a sundog. I am sort of busy right now so there may be a blog pause for another week. Tuesday, October 15, 2013. 406 October at Kah Tai. This quick little oil sketch was done at Kah Tai Lagoon in Port Townsend yesterday, with some of the Weather-or-Not painters painting nearby. It was a cold but clear morning, and the colors were beautiful. I got there late, but after the temperature rose to the 40's. 8" x 10". Sunday, March 22, 2015. I did a watercolor plein air at Arroyo Hondo preserve in Santa Barbara, but it was too overworked. After two more attempts at home, I just took some buff colored printmaking paper and dashed out a quick version. It's my favorite. Hi, welcome to my blog. About Bernard- and contact. Dromana art show- I won a prize. I entered my first art show, one held every year locally. Dromana Art Show. My kids went to school there and many years ago I did calligraphy prize certificates for them, so I chose this one to be my first “Just do it” entry. Then I had to say how much each was worth. If one sold the art show earned 1/4 for local charities and the school. I had no idea so I said $160. It wasn’t about the money…. I used a brush pen for the hot rod to push myself...
