It has been forever since I've written anything mostly because 1) I have children that see me on the computer and think they need a turn and 2) I just have not had any motivation to write. I've been getting into the bad habit of not doing things when I don't feel like doing them, which is a BAD habit to get into. Here is to more simple, organized, happy living. Wednesday, August 31, 2011. First Day of School. The first day of school came early this year as the kids went back on the 22nd of August. I have NO complaints but the kids did. Holly is in the First Grade this year and her teacher is Mrs. Pope. She seems to like her but was way more excited about being able to go to school for the whole day and even have lunch at school. Wednesday, July 31, 2013. StPatrick's Day and Glendalough. I'm a little behind on this blogging thing, but anyway. St. Patrick's Day (don't call it Patty's day, that's offensive) fell on a Sunday this year so we did not attend the parade. We were told it's mostly Americans walking through claiming their Irishness, no big loss. But Saturday we went into town to enjoy all the street carnivals that are set up and eat some street food. Tuesday, January 18, 2011. We, Ryan and I thought it would be fun to take the kids on the Front Runner Train down to Salt Lake and see the lights on temple square. Which they LOVED riding the train, and getting McDonald's for dinner. Word to the wise, make sure you know the train schedule otherwise you end up waiting a hour to get home. Wednesday, September 2, 2009. Well I can't believe Alie is already back in school! Summer has flown by this year but I have to say I'm glad because I'm definitly not a heat person. Well, whats new lets see. We went to Canada this last August for my Grandpa's 80th birthday party. It was a lot of fun to see all of my family again since it's been two years since my last visit. My cousin, Heather, took some amazing pictures of Alie and I. She is so very talented! Without her I don't know. Memoirs of a Gramma.

Monday, February 28, 2011. Ethan became a Scout at his last Birthday, which meant that in February he got to be in his very first Pinewood Derby! He was so excited and he and his Dad spent a lot of time trying to come up with the coolest car. In the end they decided to go for fun looking rather than speed. Then they found some cool pictures of Angry Birds online, cut them out and after painting the car mod podged them on to the car. It turned out very cool looking. Way to go Ethan! Rome If You Want to.
