Steve Parezo plays a vintage 7-piece Ludwig drum kit (6-1/2 x 14 chrome steel snare, 6" and 8 " concert toms, 8x12 toms (2), 16x16 floor tom, 16x22 bass drum). According to the gig, Steve also adds 6", 8" and 10" Remo Roto-Toms to his percussive arsenal. Steve uses Remo Emperor and Ambassador drum heads. Steve uses Vic Firth drum sticks.

Steve grew up in the Mohawk Valley of upstate New York. He has worked as a wilderness counselor, a classroom teacher, a crisis counselor, and a staff trainer.
