http://between-undefined.blogspot.com/2012/03/lotus-from-seed.html
This is how you can grow your own lotus from seed (latin name Nelumbo nucifera. When I started planting bamboos and other plants I wasn't planing on planting lotus until I received 4 complimentary seeds from 1949Store. Those seeds grew into nice plants very fast. Pond making - In Between
http://between-undefined.blogspot.com/2011/07/pond-making.html
In 2008 I made my fourth pond. Third pond was too small and too shallow for water lilies so I had to make a new one. In this story I will show how it was made. Note that it is today, four years later still in good condition. Since my resources ware scarce, I made it from nylon but everything began with the shovel. It is always a good thing to mark the shape and dimensions you are trying to create. For that you can use small wooden stake and a rope. Always cover the edges and do not leave nylon exposed to...

http://between-undefined.blogspot.com/2012/02/spring-prep-water-plants.html

More tropical and sensitive plants were in the house where it is warm. Water lettuce (Pistia stratiotes) is much hardier than water hyacinth (. View my comp...

Winter 2011./2012. - In Between
http://between-undefined.blogspot.com/2012/01/winter-20112012.html
Since winter is almost at its end I decided to sow some bamboo seeds (Bambusa arundinacea, Fargesia fungosa, Fargesia papyrifera). If I had known that winter will be so warm I would have planted more bamboos much earlier. Plants connected to the main plant. Photo two shows that plant and photo three shows one that is kept in another plastic container. Fargesia papyrifera - Dendrocalamus latiflorus - Fargesia fungosa. Because it is related to the experience I had with those bamboos. Naturally, I planted t...

OK, you have to put some muscle in it at the beginning but later comes the fun part. Moringa oleifera diary - In Between
http://between-undefined.blogspot.com/2013/03/moringa-oleifera-diary.html
Moringa is an interesting tree. It can be eaten from root to leaf and it contain very high amounts of vitamins, minerals and proteins.
