Thinly Veiled Versions of Other Works, Post #45 - Laura Wise. August 2nd, 2015. 06:32 pm - Thinly Veiled Versions of Other Works, Post #45. Tonight is the American airing of the last episode of Poldark. Series One. I'll watch it tomorrow or the next day via PBS Online; I can't say that I'm particularly invested in this version, not like I was as a v.v. young girl mooning over Robin Ellis' Ross and Angharad Rees' Demelza. However, I am. Keeping up. Ish. It's emphasized that our heroine Frances has auburn ...

Let's Play Twister Let's Play Joy, Post #46 - Laura Wise. August 5th, 2015. 10:12 am - Let's Play Twister Let's Play Joy, Post #46. Quick round of Joyous Things:. 1) "Man in the Moon," REM. Michael Stipe and Mike Mills never looked better, and the song is one of my favorites. 2) Cutting back 1/3 on the amount of Diet Coke (I KNOW, it's poison) I drink, with the assistance of Duke of Wellington tea from Fortnum and Mason. 3) Wearing my Boden 2-inch-heel blue T-bars. Polished and comfy. :). August 5th, 201...

Oct 18th, 2013 at 7:36 AM. This is what I'm writing about at the moment:. Sod it. Let's have some more photos. This is Eglwys Faen. I can see the above ground bits from my kitchen window. Not man made at all, it is part of a huge network of limestone caverns that extend around to the north of the Silurian coal fields. Very scary, very wet. Sadly not everyone who goes in has managed to get back out! Here's the entrance to Agen Allwedd. Very heavily locked and this is why:. Sigh* back to the sewer. I've be...

Jan 22nd, 2014 at 6:44 PM. I've been MIA for a long time due to lack of brainwidth. The old energy has been pretty badly depleted for most of 2013 as well. But I miss the people I follow on LJ so I'm going to try to do a bit better in 2104. For now - have a "Comfy Chair" author interview, crossposted from my Wordpress blog. Which has a strong M/M pairing at the heart of it. Welcome, Mina, and thank you for answering my questions. Can you tell me a little about yourself? Normally at this point I would be ...

A self made gent's attempt at living the fine life. Time Capsule Cupboards, Secret Doors and Timey-wimey Blue. August 27, 2015. August 27, 2015. Next weekend I have my dad coming to help me fit a new bath and sink- so I had to very quickly. Figure out what size bath I could fit in my super skinny bathroom, and prepare the bathroom as much as I can in advance by gutting it. I found a furniture charity shop (5 minutes walk from my house! And they had one of the tall corner cabinets for 15. Brilliant! The t...

When Tuesday is just Monday on steroids - Finding my way out of the comfort zone
http://becky-black.livejournal.com/584732.html
Finding my way out of the comfort zone. When Tuesday is just Monday on steroids. May 5th, 2015 at 9:23 PM. It was a bank holiday weekend in the UK this weekend just gone - which means Monday off work - yay! But the trouble with that is that it just allows the "Monday morning back to work" feeling to build up more a head of steam to let off on Tuesday. For one thing it was pouring with rain. And my back went bad yesterday and this morning I could barely bend down to put my socks and shoes on. Ouch! My Jun...
