Wednesday, May 27, 2009. The Boy can say Rice! Did you say what I think you said? Tonight was an exciting night at the dinner table! Davis usually ends up eating two dinners.one at about 5:00 and then another around 7:00! He must be going through a growth-spirt because he eats all the time! After he climbed into his seat he looked at me and said, "rice." No doubt about it people.clear as day."rice.". What was that.have my ears deceived me? I thought.that sounded just like rice! Tuesday, November 9, 2010. Okay - so is this not one of the cutest faces that you have ever seen? I can't even believe it! She could not have more of a girly face - but oh well! Can't you tell that she is a girl? So anyways - as I was looking at the costumes I noticed the wig section and saw that with the huge discount each wig would only be $2 each. I couldn't resist - because I figured that they would be perfect for our costume box. So I got one in almost every color! This one is for a fun night out!

While lying in bed with said chimp firmly attached to my back, I realize that I have lost any privacy or right to it. If I'm in the bathroom, I might as well hand out printed invitations to my kids that say, "COME ON IN! For those of you who get to go into the bathroom alone, enjoy it and consider yourself lucky!

Thursday, April 30, 2009. For Ellie's 6th birthday, we had a rock star party. That's right. I had a bunch of Hannah Montanas running around my house shooting music videos and putting tattoos on their faces and arms. We had a great time! The guitar "shape" was as far as I got for the cake. Sunday, September 27, 2009. It's funny going to fairs with my own kids. I see the excitement in their eyes and try to play along, while internally checking out all the rusted ride frames and food that costs more than a down payment on a small car. I shared Ellie's first ferris wheel ride with her- just look at her face! All the while I heard every creak, felt every shudder and wondered when the operator's last drug test had been.
