Much Ado About Tomblesons. The adventures of Jon, Adelina and Annabel. Monday, October 27, 2014. For our 2nd anniversary we thought it would be fun to get away for a bit and headed to Astoria. We stayed at the beautiful Cannery Pier Hotel. We had an amazing big room with fireplace and a beautiful view (from the room, balcony and bathtub in the bathroom! Our room was also across the hall from the hot tub and sauna which we enjoyed twice. We also checked out Fort Clatsop and did our best Lewis and Clark.

This year for Jon's birthday we decided to do something different. Instead of throwing a party we decided it would be fun to go on a road trip. We wanted to go somewhere new that neither of us had ever been to. Crater Lake! We had a great time enjoying the beautiful scenery, hikes, camping, food and cute critters. We can't wait to go back. But the boat ride was worth it.
