Stewart Precision Machine (SPM) was a non-automotive part of Kalkaska Screw Products (KSP) located in Michigan and owned by the Stewart family. KSP made the decision to go strictly automotive in the heart of the recession. This decision created an opportunity for Paul Stewart, a mechanical engineering and MBA graduate, to relocate a portion of the non-automotive work to Denver.
