I forgot to mention this - I think it's a common gull, any opinions welcome, I'm rubbish at gulls! Four yellow wagtail (big crop) - one definite male and maybe one adult female and two juvs. Skylark and meadow pipit. Three yellow wagtail - adult female in the centre and juveniles at the sides. Birds present this morning included 33 Teal, 2 Tufted Duck and Grey Wagtail. 21 Buzzard and 12 Stock Dove today on fields by Lady Hill Plantation, Haydock, viewed from Lodge Lane pumping station. There was also 20 fieldfare and a single redwing in one of the trees near to New Cut Farm. Sent from my iPhone.
