Crystal Lite: November 2012
http://chriscrystal.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
One cup of humour, a dash of wit, a pinch of sarcasm and a whole lot o' cheese. Sunday, November 25, 2012. Oh my dear Greta. What words can I possibly find to describe this precious sweet child of mine? As Chris so aptly put it the other day, "Greta only has one setting and that's 'sweet'." It's so true. This kid is quite possibly the sweetest kid I've ever met. And even when she's bad, she's sweet. How is that possible? It makes disciplining her next to impossible. Greta's in there. Polly Pockets? Greta...

Crystal Lite: May 2013
http://chriscrystal.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
One cup of humour, a dash of wit, a pinch of sarcasm and a whole lot o' cheese. Monday, May 6, 2013. Remember a few years ago when the blogging rage was those questionnaires? And then you would tag people and then they would fill out the same questionnaire? Like, "name 16 random facts about yourself" or "commando or undies? Or "would you rather live in a cave or die of malnutrition? You know what I'm talking about. Well, a few months ago, I started reading this. How about a $500 wallet? See it all the fi...

Crystal Lite: November 2013
http://chriscrystal.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
One cup of humour, a dash of wit, a pinch of sarcasm and a whole lot o' cheese. Wednesday, November 6, 2013. And a Pumpkin Shall Bring Us Together. Are you feeling alone? Out of touch with what's been happening the last 6 months? Well you're not alone because so is my blog. And then it got to the point where I was feeling better but on what subject do I make my grand re-entrance to? That'd be a great one. Trip to Charlotte? Yes I'm not even sure I can adequately describe the look on Ruby's face. Fear?

Crystal Lite: October 2012
http://chriscrystal.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
One cup of humour, a dash of wit, a pinch of sarcasm and a whole lot o' cheese. Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Somtimes I Just Miss. Spending the whole day watching movies in my pajamas. Only having to buckle my own seat belt. Seeing Ruby with her soozy. Eating breakfast, lunch and dinner whenever I felt like. Not having to find a babysitter. Target fifteen minutes away. Wizeguy's hot wings, extra blue cheese. Playing Lego for as long as I want. Baking with no interruptions. Having a really clean house.

Crystal Lite: Everything's Bigger In Texas...
http://chriscrystal.blogspot.com/2013/04/everythings-bigger-in-texas.html
One cup of humour, a dash of wit, a pinch of sarcasm and a whole lot o' cheese. Saturday, April 6, 2013. Everything's Bigger In Texas. Well, to be perfectly honest, it wasn't bad at all. On the way down, we drove through the night and although the girls probably only clocked in 6 hours of very interrupted sleep, they did pretty amazingly. This is them at 5am at the Texas border. They were very excited to finally be in the "wild, wild west" as Greta refers to it as but they were also very tired. We hit up...

Crystal Lite: A Party Fit for a Princess
http://chriscrystal.blogspot.com/2013/01/a-party-fit-for-princess.html
One cup of humour, a dash of wit, a pinch of sarcasm and a whole lot o' cheese. Wednesday, January 16, 2013. A Party Fit for a Princess. This year marked the year that I began the "kids party" for Ruby's birthdays. I decided five would be a good age to start - the chances of me having to wipe any child's bum during said party would be very slim and that seemed like a good enough benchmark as any. What a great idea! So we started planning who she was going to be, what she was going to wear and what she wa...

And to the Ends of the Earth: July 2006
http://andtotheendsoftheearth.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 31, 2006. Just got in from my two-day adventure up Mt. Fuji. It seems like it was all a dream, so surreal, except the pain keeps reminding me how real it was. I feel every jolt in ways I never imagined. Thoughts from the trip: I loved the parts were you need your hands to scramble over the rocks. I hate lose gravel. And stairs are my new nemesis. July 30 began with a rocky start. I had over slept and woke up at 6am to Hideki calling to say they were ready. Passing time, passing gas. In other...

Crystal Lite: Bits and Bobs
http://chriscrystal.blogspot.com/2013/04/bits-and-bobs.html
One cup of humour, a dash of wit, a pinch of sarcasm and a whole lot o' cheese. Tuesday, April 16, 2013. 1 Something about ground chicken and ground turkey really repulses me. I can handle it in, say, bolognese sauce or chili but do not give me a meatball, burger, or meatloaf. : shudder:. 4 When asked a question, Greta often responds with "Yes sir" or "No sir". It is one of the cutest things I've ever heard. She also sometimes responds with "Yes baby" in a less than respectful tone which is not s...5 If ...
