Herein lies a blog about food. And life in America's. View from the taxi. Photos by Javier Ayala. As a celebration of the nice weather last week, friend Javier planned a "secret lunch outing". The 4 of us headed out around 12noon, weaving through tourists and side streets, blindly following our leader Javier, until we hit the Water Taxi platform. Herein lies a blog about food. And life in America's. And picked up a bag of dried pulla chiles. The small red chile has a sharp bite and before rehydrating, you'll want to chop off the stem and shake out the seeds, which contain the real heat, unless extremely hot inedible food is your thing. I found that the addition of. Chiles in my chili, really took my standard bowl of tomatoes and veggies over the edge (that's a good thing). One bag pulla chiles (about 12-15 chili pods). 3-4 cloves of garlic. I'm 2...

Herein lies a blog about food. And life in America's. After a long rainy Sunday inside my new Brooklyn apartment (which I am officially in love with) I ventured out to the market, got soaked, and decided to cook some real fancy pants food. Growing up, I hated beets. I thought they tasted like dirt. And I still think they taste like dirt, but now I really like them. Does this mean I am officially old or I've acquired a taste for dirt? I'm fine with either one. Roasted Beets and Marinated Beet Greens.

Saturday, July 16, 2011. Tupperware 4-pc Bowl Set on sale through July 2011. Just when you think the world is going to shit something special happens to make you think things might be looking up, like Jezebel's "50 Most Beautiful Atlantans" annual party at Park Tavern bar. Most nightclubs offer a mixed crowd, some attractive, some not, and that's fine but it's just cool to think about if one nightclub was completely filled with most attractive people in Atlanta that did good things for the community.
