Hows Does Craniosacral Therapy Work. The craniosacral system is classified as a semi-closed hydraulic system which supports the brain and spinal cord. This system has a regulated inflow and outflow of cerebral spinal fluid. The craniosacral rhythm is a cyclical rhythm produced which can be palpated anywhere in the body, similar to feeling a pulse of the heart beating. This rhythm corresponds to the cerebral spinal fluid movement during production and re-absorption phases.
