Also, check out the video below to get a glimpse of our descent down the volcano! It's definitely not the most attractive view of my voice (do I really speak that high-pitched? Oh and fyi- I'm taking the video while pausing on the luge course to watch my friend Marni slide down, then I start sliding down myself. . Tuesday, October 28, 2008. Throughout the ...

From Philly to Chile: it's a small world after all
http://phillytochile.blogspot.com/2008/11/its-small-world-after-all.html
From Philly to Chile. Friday, November 28, 2008. It's a small world after all. It amazes me that in a city of 15 million people, few days pass by where I don't run into someone I know on the street/on the metro/in the bathroom. Despite everyone's unique comings and goings, we all seem to collide at some point or another. Character 1: Angry lady. I'm suing you for false advertising! Character 2: Chilean Jon Krasinski:. Character 3: Parking lot Einstein. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Gringo(a): forei...

From Philly to Chile. Saturday, December 13, 2008. Home for the holidays. Hugh Grant, intro of. There are few moments in real life that live up to their respective portrayal in movies. However, the cherished reunion with loved ones is one of those rare times where we mere mortals experience a corny picture-perfect moment come to life. From Philly to Chile: August 2008
http://phillytochile.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
From Philly to Chile. Friday, August 29, 2008. Found an amazing park near my house. Went running there in the morning and was pleasantly surprised to find that it was fairly deserted. Much different than parks in the US, which are often filled with housewives and their kids on weekday mornings. One day I will take pictures of this park to show how cool it is, but here are some of its attributes:. 2) a giant birdhouse. 3) a bmx/roller skating stunt park. 6) a garden with a labyrinth maze running through it.

Tuesday, August 28, 2007. A cruel aspect of the life of a college student who goes to school too far away to drive there. BOOKS These college people entice you to come to their institution to learn all these great things, and what do you accumulate? Lots and lots of books. Books you want to keep. But what the heck are you supposed to do with them? In other news: I had fun shadowing "Frau" Sherman at the high school. She has some really good German students! Now all that's leftis packing, packing and more...

From Philly to Chile. Sunday, September 28, 2008. My new favorite thing. It's called a piolet. and it's kind of amazing. This sunday, i went on an unofficial mountaineering excursion. however, considering there were about 70 kids from the different mountaineering classes our instructor some assistants, it was about as official as it could be. but we´re keeping that on the down low. You know what, i feel like climbing a mountain today. I climbed that mountain today! I love this country. A lifesaver, and.
