Wednesday, December 8, 2010. Magic of Christmas :). I want my kids to know why we celebrate Christmas…. You can’t spell Christmas without putting Christ first! A few days ago I found out about 2 girls who were taken away from their mother (reasons unknown) and put into a home with their grandmother who was barely getting by on her own. These dogs apparently have the ability to tell when a person’s blood sugar levels are getting dangerously low. Is this for real? The article was about a non-profit organization that trains dogs for special diabetics. The organization is called Dogs4Diabetes and has been open since 2003. As a parent, it’s my job to teach my kids right from wrong. Bullying hurts everyone. Victims can have their feelings hurt or be injured by bullies.
