Stitching, Knitting and Everything Else. Monday, January 23, 2006. Eager to use my recently purchased Debbie Bliss yarn, I started on knitting myself a hat. Last winter I successfully knitted 2 hats following a simple pattern from a library book. I liked the pattern because it didn't involve double pointed needles which scare the life out of me! Stitching, Knitting and Everything Else. Wednesday, February 01, 2006. I finally finished the Rowan Kidsilk Haze scarf. Seeing I only used 2 balls it worked out a lot shorter than the one in the picture so I decided not to put any chiffon through it, instead I sewed some seed beads along the edges. I was very thrifty in the fact that it didn't cost me anything apart from the. I used astrakhan fabric inherited from my Grandmother, so who knows how old it is!
