An online photo album for our relatives north of the border. 31 January, 2015. On Thursday, Floyd found a chunk of snow on our way to get Nova after school. He carried it to school and then all the way home. When we decided to stay outside and play for a bit, he kept holding onto it. We ended up putting it in the freezer so he could show Joseph. Joseph, Calliope and Nova went and bought pumpkins while Floyd was napping last weekend. When he woke up he was delightfully surprised with pumpkins being in the house. At first we gave him just one. Calliope used to make a lot of bears with them. Joseph got Nova, Calliope and I each a little kit for Christmas and one night after dinner, the kids got them out and did them and then they couldn't stop creating. Calliope's kit was a peace sign. Nova's was a robot but he never made it. He made his own creations.

Tuesday, 18 October 2011. I made this some while ago from the Textile Heritage Celtic Cross. Kit (BKCC) and it sat in my nearly finished projects box for a while as I lacked the motivation to cut the piece of pale blue felt (supplied) to size and to carefully hand stitch it on the reverse to finish it off! During stitching I attached it to a Siesta mini 4" No Sew. MNP4) which helped to keep it taut and the stitching neat, It was all whole stitches and reasonably straight forward.
