A Bit About Me. February 27, 2015 · Filed under books. I’m sorry I havent posted in a while! I have been working away but I don’t seem to be able to finish any projects, as soon as I get close to finishing I get distracted and move onto something else…. So whilst I try and get over this strange and unproductive habit I’ll show you some of the awesome books I’ve picked up recently from the library where I work:. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Sheeta Li Illustration: Save the Date
http://sheetaliillustration.blogspot.com/2012/09/save-date.html
My sister's getting married next year and she's asked me to design her Save the Date cards. I can't remember the last time I picked up a paintbrush so it felt really good to spend the whole day painting. The wedding venue is Nymans Gardens, so I decided to go with a natural theme of trees and flowers. I used watercolour paints as the medium for this image. Thanks for stopping by! The range I'm currently working on focuses on my favourite topic: food! The images will be accompanied with food relevant idioms/phrases. This is my latest greeting card design. I loved using such bright colours, also I just love drawing lemons. Thought I'd update you all with what I've been up to seeing as it's been a while since my last post! The nation's been hit with Olympic Fever, and I was lucky enough to see the Olympic Torch Finale Concert and the Women's and Men's Beach Volleyball!

Sheeta Li Illustration: Why Not?
http://sheetaliillustration.blogspot.com/2012/11/why-not.html
It's been a while since my last post, so I thought I'd give you all a quick update on what I've been up to. I had my first batch of greeting cards printed and delivered, over 2000! I was surprised at how much room 2000 cards, cellowraps and envelopes take up! I've only just managed to finish making them look pretty because of a brief stint in Hong Kong with the boyfriend. I'm missing my daily dose of char siu baos. I've restocked my shop though, lots of lovely cards in different colours available!

Sheeta Li Illustration: January 2012

Today I started my internship with the. Under the supervision of Sharon Little. It was an exciting first day for me, as I was definitely thrown into the deep end by visiting my first trade fair - Top Drawer. The space was lovely, and the standard of work from the exhibitors was particularly high. As part of the GCA, Sharon and I made our way down the numerous aisles saying hello to all the card companies. Everyone was so friendly and there was a real sense of community. This humorous 80s range is Visoni's.

Stitch Chicks - North Franklin Quilt Shop
Welcome to Stitch Chicks. Stitch Chicks is a locally owned quilt shop. Located in North Franklin, Connecticut. I have been quilting since the early 70's and have seen many changes. Rotary cutters and rulers were not around in the 70's and the awesome patterns we have today are so much more creative. I opened Stitch Chicks Quilt Shop on November 9, 2014. It has been a dream of mine for many years. In 6 short months I have met so many nice people and can't wait to see what the future holds. CT Shop Hop 2015.

Epic De – Stash. So over the years I have been accumilating a LOT of craft supplies because I can’t refuse any offers of free materials even if I have NO idea when or how I’ll be using them. And when people find out you’re a ‘crafter’ of some description they tend to say “oh well you can have all this crap then, I’m sure you’ll find a use for it! A de-stash is a crafty term for selling all this stuff in a big online sale, and that’s what I’m doing. Over in my Shop. Here are some of the custom orders I...

Stitchclothcolour
A blog about making art and other things using cloth, paper, paint, colour, stitch, and all sorts of exciting techniques, some of which I'm sure I still have to discover! I hope that the joy all this gives me is visible in what you can see here. Saturday, 8 August 2015. Thursday was spent getting all sticky and messy with some muslin, tissue paper, other bits and pieces, and bucketfuls of PVA! Above and below works in progress, and considering that we all used the same materials, it's amazing to see the ...
