And for this chair which was upholstered and painted to order to perfectly co-ordinate with the design scheme in the shop. Friday, 9 May 2014. Even better recycled bags, light eas...

Stitched By His Love
Stitched By His Love. Wednesday, November 26, 2014. Tie One On Day! Only a couple of weeks ago, after reading the e-zine. Issue # 11, put out by Schmets Needles, I learned about Tie One On Day. March 3, 2014. What I Learned In February. Did anyone else used to say "rabbit, rabbit" on the first day of the month for good luck? I remember someone in my Girl Scout troop teaching me that when I was 8 years old. For years I would say "rabbit, rabbit" to bring a month of luck. This popped into my mind as I was reflecting on February, my challenge and the end of the month. (Also, my troop number popped into my head, 407- I cannot believe I remembered that! Did we learn, grow, change? I learned that tak...

Friday, August 14, 2015. Buying ready made cushions are expensive. They come is standard sizes of 14 x14, 16 x 16, 18 x18, 26 x 26, 12 x 16 or 14 x 28. Fortunately making your own cushions is easy, inexpensive and you are free to make the cushion in any size, shape, or colour you wish. In this tutorial I am making a cushion insert that when finished will measure 11 x 22in. Why that size? Well because I want cushions that will sit on each end of my sofa. Plain and simple cushion. 1 Wash and iron fabric.
