Cindy's Inspiora'id: MEET ME IN PARIS!
http://cindysinspioraid.blogspot.com/2013/07/meet-me-in-paris.html
Monday, July 1, 2013. MEET ME IN PARIS! Meet Me in Paris. I love how it was quilted! I had Connie Biase in Parowan, Utah quilt it. She did a great job. She outlined every fan so it puffs up. She does a great job. I need to get some more of my UFO's done so I can take her some more quilts this summer. This has inspired me to get more sewing done! Next post project is already finished. Stay tuned! September 25, 2013 at 3:40 PM. Another amazing quilt from Cindy! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Cindy's Inspiora'id: Retreat Gifts
http://cindysinspioraid.blogspot.com/2012/08/retreat-gifts.html
Saturday, August 25, 2012. Gifts from my Secret Sister, Zany Quilter. On our quilting retreat we each had a Secret Sister that we all had fun making gifts for. Well, I was so spoiled by my Sister, Vic (Zany Quilter). We each had the opportunity of filling out a list of different things we enjoyed. Well my new love of fabric is Millie's Closet by Lori Holt (Bee in my Bonnet). Well it goes great with my other favorite "Ruby", from Camille Roskelly. Vic is so talented and creative! I love it all! Cindy's Inspiora'id: February 2012
http://cindysinspioraid.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 17, 2012. I want to show the great bargain I got when buying an outfit for a new little one. I found this dress at Sams Club on clearance and the shoes at the 99cent store. So I decided to add some socks and a headband. I wanted to make some embroidered nylon flowers on the BERNINA 830. But was out of Crinkle Magic. So instead I. That I had pinned these cute crochet flowers. So I went to my yarn stash and found some fleece yarn and decided to make the flowers out of it. Sunday Stash #362...

stitched in thyme: baby boy
http://www.stitchedinthyme.com/2016/06/baby-boy.html
Late in February, I had a baby boy, Elijah. He was too premature to make it in this world, so he stayed for a very short time, then left us. I have been grieving his loss since, in my own way. Still am. It will take a while, perhaps forever. I became pregnant in October and we were thrilled. Everything progressed as it should until it didn't - I had some complications that went from "Rest and take it easy, but things are okay" to "Would you like to terminate? Tuesday, June 07, 2016. Archie the wonder dog.

stitched in thyme: fabric trim down
http://www.stitchedinthyme.com/2014/06/fabric-trim-down.html
And I still have a decently large order of fabric coming my way not shown in these photos - full of shot cottons, Leah Duncan's Meadow and Wee Wander.but that's it, I swear it! So, I am putting myself on a self imposed fabric diet. And I'm writing about it, so you guys can hold me accountable! For the next six months (my husband has challenged me to a year, silly husband), I'll be sewing from my stashed fabrics only - with 3 exceptions:. Anyone interested in joining me? Only you know your stash. Come bac...

stitched in thyme: fabric fast: check-in
http://www.stitchedinthyme.com/2014/09/fabric-fast-check-in.html
How are you all doing with the whole 'no buying fabric' business. Tricky, eh? Anyway, I managed to stick to just two purchases so far - and it was (mostly) solids, so within the "rules! I ended up getting some more Essex linen as I am on a geranium dress making kick and have some gorgeous fabric that would be perfect as a little dress but needed some solid to balance it out. I also snagged a corduroy for her Halloween costume. But I did break the rules (! How did you fare so far? Its killing me that I ge...

I really enjoyed Plum and June's blog hop this summer, and guess what? Now she's hosting a little Quilt Photography workshop. I always love and appreciate good photography, especially in a media like craft blogging where lots of the potential readers are visual in nature. Before I go on, I have to say a HUGE big thank you to Maureen Cracknell for sending me this cute bundle of Luxe in Bloom and featuring my QAYG quilt. Out of the 59 photos taken, 21 were edited. 8 were included in this post. This last sh...

stitched in thyme: a special geranium
http://www.stitchedinthyme.com/2014/09/a-special-geranium.html
E had a big day recently - her baptism! And there was food (BBQ), family, friends and of course, a very special handmade dress. I had thought about making a dress for her baptism after looking at the polyester dresses online that cost a small fortune. None were really. My style and just soo.poofy. So I ordered up some voile in white that was embroidered with white flowers. It seemed pretty and delicate and still simple and understated - perfect for such an occasion. Photo by PSJ photography. I try to res...
