Place one on either end of the 5 ½ x 10 inch roof piece. Sew on the drawn line. Cut ¼ inch away from the line and press. Repeat on the other end of the roof rectangle. Saturday, August 25, 2012. Chocolate Waffles with Strawberries. 1 package lemon cake mix. 1/3 cup vegetable oil. 2 Tblsp. water. Combine cookie ingredients. Bake at 375 degrees for 16 minutes. Let cool 3 minutes. 1 cup powdered sugar. Remove 1 tsp. zest from lemon,. Remove 2 Tblsp. juice from lemon. Whisk ingredients in small mixing bowl. Drizzle glaze on cooled cookies. Saturday, December 1, 2012. Sorry I havn't posted in some time. Here is the Lazy Apricot Preserves that I promised in my last posting. 1 (225 lb.) pkg. Dried Apricots. I bought my dried apricots at Sams Club for about $8.00 and it makes enough Apricot Jam to fill 10 freezer containers. I tried to buy apricot jam at the grocery store and it was about $4.00 for a small jar. I don't make the Apricot Jam to eat on toast, I make the jam so I can make the following recipe:. When I worked at a quilt shop, five years ago, I started doing binding for customers as a service. And I taught other ladies at the quilt store how to bind. 10 cents per linear inch. Sewing the binding the the back of the quilt and using a decorative stich to sew it to the top. 15 cents per linear inch. Sewing the binding to the front of the quilt and hand sewing it to the back.
