We are a group of women coming together to share ideas and creativity, to care for and empower one another. We have shared skills, meals, stories and laughter, and through that gathering we have formed a small community. Most of our women left their native lands. Our Four Group Leaders. Stitching Change currently has fifteen women enrolled in our program. Stitching Change provides free classes and transportation Fridays and Saturdays. Our group consists of women coming from the countries of Nepal and Burma, speaking. Various different languages and their ages ranging from 16 to 68. To work to understand the needs of immigrant and refugee women culturally, emotionally and spiritually as they seek to transfer their lives to their new country. To respect individual cultures, traditions and religions, and learn to co-create a caring and striving community. To challenge each other to bring forth our creativity so we can excel and strive in the way we live and do things.
