Stitching Free

My first blog, about my attraction to the fiber arts, and my attempts at "Stitching Free". Tuesday, April 17, 2012. I'm not sure if there is hope for me as a blogger! I didn't even post once in 2011, and this is the first for 2012. I really should try harder. Today's post is a result of frustration because I can't access my email account! What's a girl to do? I should take out my frustration on a project in my sewing room! Wednesday, March 24, 2010. Better Late Than Never. Monday, July 13, 2009. My excus...

Oh, look at all that beautiful tatting! That sounds like a very cool show and tell! Ill bet the ladies raved about your tatting. Its all very pretty. I see you have it displayed on your cookie pillow for bobbin lace!

Stitching Free: Time to Blog

http://stitchingfree.blogspot.com/2009/07/time-to-blog.html

My first blog, about my attraction to the fiber arts, and my attempts at "Stitching Free". Monday, July 13, 2009. I can't believe I haven't posted anything to my blog since April! I'll take a picture of it when it's done. It is promised to my grandaughter, Lauren. I also finished quilting a crib sized quilt started at Guild by members who wanted to learn to hand quilt. Funny thing was, I donated the top to the Guild so I wouldn't have to deal with it anymore. Go figure! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Stitching Free: April 2009

http://stitchingfree.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html

My first blog, about my attraction to the fiber arts, and my attempts at "Stitching Free". Tuesday, April 21, 2009. This is a picture of the Covered Bridge that spans the Kennebecasis River, not far from our house. We walk to it almost every day with our dog. Earlier in the month, the river spilled over its banks and the road you see in the picture was about a foot under water, enough that I wouldn't drive through it with my car. Saturday, April 18, 2009. Where does the time go? Cheers for now,.

My first blog, about my attraction to the fiber arts, and my attempts at "Stitching Free". Thursday, January 29, 2009. Kingston Creek, the Stories. We still go on a yearly quilt retreat, but now we go to the Villa Madonna Retreat House, still have our meals prepared for us, sew our little hearts out, and laugh a lot, but there isn't Kingston Creek with all its many faces to look at from our windows. It was touch and go for many weeks, but he is a little fighter. He's had 3 airlifts since he was born,...
