Stitching,Jogging and Attitude

Stitching,Jogging and Attitude. Monday, April 2, 2012. Mount Hayfield Trail Run. The trail started with a very gentle jog through a cool sheltered pine forest trail. However as usual on our trail runs, people began to get quite creative with their directions. Maps were abandoned and many soon began to get lost. What initially seemed like a gentle climb however soon became a hot, high hill of fun but torture. The trail flattened off for a few kms. but it still remained very hot in the full sun. Stitching,Jogging and Attitude: July 2011

http://stitchingjoggingandattitude.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html

Stitching,Jogging and Attitude. Wednesday, July 27, 2011. A Nice Ladylike Jogette. 160; Todays trail run seemed a really good idea. A nice 10 km. ladylike jogette around Lake Bullen Merri. No stress, no pain and it certainly looked inviting from the lookout . It started off a bit tricky with all these. 160; small volcanic rocks scattered everywhere. This lake is in an extinct volcanic crater and as there were so many rocks, some concealed under the grasses,  it made running quite dangerous. Wednesday, Ju...

Stitching,Jogging and Attitude: Barossa Duathlon.

http://stitchingjoggingandattitude.blogspot.com/2011/11/barossa-duathlon.html

Stitching,Jogging and Attitude. Tuesday, November 8, 2011. One of the goals I set for myself this year was to take part in a triathlon. Now this hasn't happened yet, but there is still time. However on October 16th. I competed in the Barossa Duathlon which was part of the Master's Games here in South Australia. One of the main differences between the Chubby Hubby and I is that he is very cautious whilst I will have a go at anything and think of the consequences later. The first 500 metres of the cycle le...

http://stitchingjoggingandattitude.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html

Stitching,Jogging and Attitude. Wednesday, February 22, 2012. Next catch up and then I'm all up to date. The last couple of months have mostly been about bike riding for me. I don't run quite so much in the Summer as a medical condition means I don't cope with the heat particularly well. I find the cycling is great cross training and keeps the legs turning over. I'm even managing to stay upright on the bike more this year with not so many stacks. Once I sorted the gears out thanks to Susi we both powered...

Taking fabric. making it into. fun, attractive, and useful stuff! Tuesday, June 30, 2015. How to Replace a Jacket Zipper the Traditional Way. I almost called this article "How to Change a Jacket Zipper the Right Way" - but, in spite of my website's name, I don't really believe there is a right or wrong way in sewing. Replace a Coat or Jacket Zipper. There are not a lot of steps, but it does involve a fair amount of time to complete this. Remove the Old Zipper. Pick off ALL the loose thread ends - there w...

Stitching It Together | Weaving together the threads of family, creativity, work, and play

Weaving together the threads of family, creativity, work, and play. Thinking about new beginnings. June 1, 2015. My toddler is usually going full blast! And the more tired he gets, the squirrelier he gets flipping and flopping until we finally sit down in his room at the end of the night to read stories. Stitching and dreaming

Wednesday, June 10, 2009. Latest "secret stitching project" was Lennu's monochromatic exchange. I had no idea how to translate that word in English, but thanks to Lennu, I found that word from her blog :). Here's what I received:. My favorite color is red, and I got this lovely heart (stitched over one! She also sent me this lovely red candle holder. (Better pictures in her blog! When I heard that, I almost cried. I was (and still am) very sorry! Here's the picture, how it was before I sent it:. Lle, jok...
