2015 SAL | Stitching Lotus
http://stitchinglotus.ca/2015-sal
2015 is nearly upon us, which means it is time to get our stitching plans in place. As you probably know, the Smalls SAL will return for 2015. The rules are super simple, the projects are small, and, best of all, it’s fun! Stitch a small every month. You get to decide what a small is for you. 50 50 stitches? It’s up to you. You just need to be able to get it done by the check-in day. (WIPs that you complete in time for the check-in are great too! You pick your design, I do not provide designs. If you sig...

The next check-in date will be August 27...

Big and Little Socks →. Smalls SAL 2015 – February Check-In. February 25, 2015. It is Smalls time again! February may be the shortest month, but here in the northern hemisphere it is often the coldest month, which means lots of indoor time for stitching. And, while I was thinking about Christmas last month, this month my thoughts turned to Halloween. Truthfully, I’m tired of the snow, and I wanted to stitch something do to with a holiday I love. Love Halloween, designed by Mill Hill. It’s a nice ch...

Smalls: pin cushions, needlebooks, book marks, biscornus, ornaments, etc. I think there isn’t a stitch around that doesn’t, at least occasionally, enjoy stitching smalls. In 2014, I’ll be hosting the Smalls SAL, and I hope you will join me! Just like the Ornament SAL, the rules are simple. Stitch a small every month. You get to decide what a small is for you. 50×50 stitches? Post a picture of your completed small (stitching done, but the actual finishing is optional) on the last Wednesday. If you signed ...

Who doesn’t love stitching ornaments? Decorating Christmas trees, Halloween trees and even Easter trees with stitched ornaments is a great way to show off your work, and to give yourself a quick finish. It can be for any holiday, in any style, and using any needlework technique you choose. The dates for check in are as follows:. What will the prize be? Sell, share, tra...
