It's the busy crazy season now.my daughter has her dance concert end of month, she may be 20 years old but she still needs me to help her with costume changes as she has 12 different costumes! Also I work in hospitality at a holiday park so we are getting ready for the busy season. And currently it's a stinking hot 40 degrees.to hot for stitching. I have Cassiopeia all kitted (whom I have referred to as my "spirit stitch! I had originally started Persephone on a reddish fabric, but after seeing the mother's WIP bought the matching fabric! Tuesday, May 12, 2015. I am no longer under "Undine" by Mirabilia! Stitched on 32ct ODL Carnival. I felt like the beading went on and on, especially since I could not decide on whether to keep the bugle beads or substitute Kreinik. In the end I decided (with help from the Crone and her envious stash) to throw out both ideas and substitute star shaped beads instead! Thursday, July 24, 2014. I have been stitching away, but as I am working on a gift I cannot post my progress. I can tell you I am beading my largest project to date and will hopefully share by the end of August. In the meantime, I picked up Masquerade by Ink Circles! I was at a loss for what to start and the Crone suggested a Halloween theme (I usually stitch them in the Summer, odd I know! It was just the ticket to restart my mojo, and I have even been asked to display it for sale at a local Tattoo shop!

This month Donelle shared with the group a great technique for creating a bow-tie block and just look at this great quilt. what a way to use up of that stash! See the little pocket this technique creates- - you can just leave that there as Donelle has done or there are a few other possibilities too.
