Lucy Lamb Crafts Latch Hook Rugs and Cushions. I have completed some rugs and cushions shown below, but the kits contain a variety of different natural coloured wool so the design is up to you. Small rug with sheep design. Cushion using natural coloured wool. My aging sheep flock is down to 3, now very old ladies. I managed to get last years fleeces washed, and I am in the process of writing a page on washing wool. Probably recommending you don't attempt to wash a whole fleece at once!

Shearing the sheep, choosing your fleece, washing, carding, making rolags and spinning. You can spin straight from carded fleece for a smoother yarn. Once your sheep is sheared, you can select the best wool from the fleece to wash, card and spin your yarn. Fleece will probably be dirty and definitely greasy. Latch hook rugs and cushions. Latch hook kits and hanging basket lining. The kit idea materialised because of my lack of time for latching. I also hit upon using the wool for lining hanging baskets. It does the job well and looks good. There are pictures of some of my latch hook creations here. Rug kit (plain, sheep or mixed colour)*. Large (120 x 70cm). Small (45 x 70cm). 42 x 42 cm. Will line 12 basket. The rug kits contain washed fleece, canvas, latch hook and instructions. Holidaying in the South west.
