Stitchy Quilt Stuff: Scrappy Improv Pillow
http://stitchyquiltstuff.blogspot.com/2014/05/scrappy-improv-pillow.html
Modern Dear Jane Quilt. Sunday, May 18, 2014. I was lucky enough to get to go to the Sew South Retreat. This year, hosted and organized by the lovely Jennifer Mathis of Ellison Lane. One of my favorite things was that everyone who went took the same classes together. This scrappy improv pillow class was taught by Kati (From The Blue Chair), and it was so fun to see how different everyone's projects turned out! That piece of text print in the middle was rescued from the trash can at Sew South! 169; 2010&#...

Stitchy Quilt Stuff: Green & Gold Mini Quilt
http://stitchyquiltstuff.blogspot.com/2015/02/green-gold-mini-quilt.html
Modern Dear Jane Quilt. Sunday, February 1, 2015. Green and Gold Mini Quilt. I'm really into making mini quilts these days. Maybe it's because they're actually "finishable" in a short amount of time, or that I like trying new techniques and playing with my scrap pile. Either way, I've been designing minis for each issue of The WhipperCrafter. This month, my little "X Marks the Spot" string pieced mini quilt made the cover! Here's a little sneak peak of the rest of the magazine. Project by Aimee Davis.

The Lone Quilter: YEEEEEE HAAAAAAAW!!!
http://thelonequilter.blogspot.com/2010/12/yeeeeee-haaaaaaaw.html
Wednesday, December 29, 2010. This post is dedicated to a very special quilt for a very special person in my life. S house (HOLLLLLLAAAA Jill). I had it all cut out but didn't get it all pieced until July. I am very happy with the way it turned out. The original fabric is this adorable Alexander Henry fabric called "From the Hip." You should all know that I have a bit of an obsession with his fabric and have quite the stash of his fabric! This one shows some of the original panel. What a neat idea! I am ...
The Lone Quilter: Guys Girls and Dolls...doll QUILTS, that is!
http://thelonequilter.blogspot.com/2010/10/guys-girls-and-dollsdoll-quilts-that-is.html
Thursday, October 14, 2010. Girls and Dolls.doll QUILTS, that is! Here is one of my latest projects that I'm excited about. It's the first quilt that I drew up in EQ6 (Electric Quilt Software) and took all the way to completion! I have designed more quilts in EQ than I will ever be able (or want) to actually create. It's nice to play around with fabrics and colors and know that I don't have to physically create that particular quilt if I don't want to. Cincinnati Modern Quilt Guild (HOLLLLLAAAA, Jill!

Sunday, May 13, 2012. So Many Bags. So Little Time. These are two more projects I made out of Seaside by Riley Blake. I just love this line. I made a woman's sunhat and a little boy sunhat. I am not making an official pattern for this one. Riley Blake is having me come into their office to film a You Tube instructional video to teach people how to do it. There will be a download available then. This is my Summer Fun Tote made out of Joel Dewberry Heirloom laminate. I love these colors. Anyway, all of my ...
And Sew It Goes: Fall 2012 International Quilt Market in Houston
http://seeaprilsew.blogspot.com/2012/11/fall-2012-international-quilt-market-in.html
Tuesday, November 6, 2012. Fall 2012 International Quilt Market in Houston. It really is a treat to attend the International Quilt Market in Houston. The 2012 Fall quilt market was not a disappointment. It was filled with beautiful fabric and wonderful, creative people. I will have to break this into several posts because there was too much eye candy to put in one post all at once. This is an interesting quilt that was on display. It was very chunky and textured. This is a quick peek at a quilt in Jennif...

Thursday, June 28, 2012. One Sweet Slice and Material Girls. Heaven. Last night, these wonderful women who run Sewing Summit (Erin) and SNAP! Tauni) hosted this fun blogger gathering between a cupcake shop and a fabric store. Thanks to Tauni Everett and Erin Singleton. How lucky I was to be able to just drive up the street, here in South Jordan, Utah, to attend. Chocolate is always my favorite though, and these little towers of delight didn't disappoint. Personally, I think I love cupcakes more. I have b...
And Sew It Goes: Joel Dewberry Fabric on Modern Family
http://seeaprilsew.blogspot.com/2012/11/joel-dewberry-fabric-on-modern-family.html
Sunday, November 4, 2012. Joel Dewberry Fabric on Modern Family. Joel's fabric has also been featured on Cougartown. There was a whole bedroom set made out of one of his lines on that show. There was also a diaper bag on a daytime soap (not sure which one) and I saw an episode of Tori and Dean Home Sweet Hollywood. Where Tori made a dress to wear in the hospital when she had her baby, Hattie. The whole ruffle top on it was made with a fabric from Aviary 2 in granite. November 4, 2012 at 9:34 PM.

Tomorrow begins our pre-launch for a new business that my husband and I started a few months ago. Actually more than a few months ago. We have researched and learned and wrestled with decisions about fabrics and inks and machines and FINALLY we are ready to launch - well, sort of. No Is our site perfect? No Can we take orders yet?

Notting Hill in Turquoise color way at Fall Quilt Market 2012. Navy Pockets Aplenty Diaper Bag. Of all of the lovely color ways that were represented in Joel's Quilt Market booth, the Navy color way was most admired, or so he says. This bag was made by Leigh. And it is just lovely.
