In the past we have done the parks and then the cruise. This time we switched it up and did Disney World last and realized we liked the first scenario better. Ah well, you live you learn. Usually. Thursday, March 24, 2011. Jake Green, Josh Green, Me, Goody Tyler. The others swimming on this day swam distances of 200 yards to a quarter mile. Craziness. They're all MUCH stronger swimmers than me so they don't have quite the same fear of cramping up and drowning in frigid temperatures. For the record, the water was 49 degrees and for those of you who aren't familiar with water temperature, that feels A LOT colder that 49 degree air temp. Oh. My. Gosh. Tuesday, March 1, 2011. Monday, May 16, 2011. You will NOT believe the amazing time I had in London. If you think the Royals are naff or that the wedding got too much publicity, stop reading now. I'll only annoy you. In my opinion, I'm thrilled and delighted that something positive got so much attention. GO ROYAL FAMILY! I love them, always have, always will. Highlights of London Day 1. Actually slept on plane. On the Heathrow Express. A bit punchy, perhaps. Went to Cafe Diana. Amazing, as usual. Cafe Diana, if you didn't guess.

Sunday, October 24, 2010. Last Race of the Season.And a Knit. The last open water race in our area was called Slam the Dam and was held in Lake Mead Nevada. I used to go to Lake Mead with my best friend when I was a kid and I love it there. You will find no hotter place on earth but you can always escape into the water :). The lake is lovely and the conditions were so perfect (in my opinion) on race day. You have no idea how amazing that felt to me after my Deer Creek fandango! Slow and steady, baby!

In this picture, Lauren seems to be enjoying the role of "cashier" (recently taken at the Utah Discovery Museum), but she has informed us all that she has different plans for her life.
