Back then, 10 families gathered together to worship in the home of the Reverend W.G.P. Brinckloe. By 1888, the Diocesean Journal referred to this mission as “the Chapel of Saint James Parish, Bristol.”. We’ve come a long way since the 19th century! Soup Kitchen at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 1625 Locust Street, Philadelphia. ERA Veggies and Food Pantry. On the memo line and place it in the collection plate. During the growing season, several parishioners grew a row for the pantry and bring that produce to church to be delivered by our volunteer drivers. E-mail Reverend Barbara Kelley. Barbara has been the rector at St. James since June 2008. She is a 1980 graduate of the General Theological Seminary in New York, the Episcopal Church’s oldest seminary. She previously served as interim rector at over a dozen congregations during her 20 year ministry as an interim ministry specialist.
