Christopher Slayton, 67, died peacefully at home on January 12, 2011, after a long struggle with pancreatic cancer. Chris was born in Concord, MA, and grew up in New Hampshire, graduating from Bristol High School in 1961. Amanda E Slayton and Kathryn E Slayton, and an increasing number of great nieces and nephews. Cancer is a 2x4 to the Head. The Long and Winding Road Begins. Thursday, November 11, 2010. This entry to my blog could very well be the last one for a month or so as my visits to Hanover with the medical doctors are less frequent. Presently, I am in moderate pain throughout the day and my appetite is still an issue. I struggle mostly with the supper hour. However, I am going to the fitness center here at the college most days to walk laps around the basketball court and use the elliptical. Lion In Da Sun.
