This unit provides opportunities for students to explore major religions and belief codes including aboriginal spirituality. The unit focuses on how religions and belief codes influence individuals and groups. We are excited at our school because Blessed Mary MacKillop is soon to be Saint Mary of the Cross MacKillop and our school was founded by Mary MacKillop's Sisters of St Joseph. We are also very excited because one of the students in Year 6 is the 9th cousin of Blessed Mary MacKillop. How lucky are we. Thanks for coming to our school Laura. Friday, May 31, 2013. Why should we ban testing on animals? I strongly believe that products shouldn't be tested on animals because it's not safe for the animals. For example, if you test ink in a rabbit’s eye, the rabbit will die. Firstly, animal testing should be banned because it harms the animal’s skin.
