Worldwide concerns are growing regarding the environment and the preservation of natural energy resources has come under the spotlight of the international community. The Induction Generator Controller (IGC) keeps the Voltage from the generator constant. This device is part of the Micro Hydro Power development.

Ventilated Improved Pit Toilets. Ventilated Improved Pit Toilets. Toilets in rural areas are often unhygienic and can be dangerous to use. Structural weakness of the toilet floor and disease risk are two of the problems that affect pit toilets. In Kyrgyzstan, ATIK is addressing these problems and others, such as: reducing the numbers of flies that spread disease, and reducing toilet odors. The SanPlat plastic mold forms the right shaped hole in an alternative curved slab version without steel reinforcing.
